Full-time management team members are offered a comprehensive extended group health care plan that includes dental coverage, long-term disability and life insurance. We offer all staff members preferred pricing (based on availability) for family and friends when they are staying at our hotels.
Banff Voyager Inn has varied work schedules that are typical of the hospitality and tourism industry. Hours fluctuate due to many factors, including the fact that we are a seasonal business. Since we operate 24/7 shift work may be a requirement for some positions. Regular full-time staff receives the standard two days off, however, this may not be two consecutive days or fall on the weekend.
There is dormitory style accommodation available for team members that wish to take advantage of this offer. Monthly rental fees are simply deducted from your payroll. Cooking and washroom facilities are shared amongst team members. For team members who choose to reside in our staff accommodation, there is a refundable damage deposit required.
Banff Voyager Inn provides uniform(s) for all of our team members. It is up to each individual to make sure your uniform is pressed, clean and professionally presentable any time you are on duty.
Impeccable grooming and dress are requested from all team members to ensure a successful workplace and to meet consistent guest fulfillment. Banff Voyager Inn looks for team members that go all-out to meet and go beyond expectations.
