Benefits
We offer our full time employees a
comprehensive health care plan including long-term disability, life
insurance and dental coverage. Our employees also receive preferred
rates for family staying at our hotels.
Work Schedules
Hours of work are varied and will
fluctuate in accordance with seasonal business levels. Our hotels
operate seven days a week twenty-four hours per day so shift work
may be required in some positions. Workweeks are based on forty
hours with two days off, not necessarily on the weekend.
Accommodation
The hotel does offer staff accommodation
for staff that wishes to reside there. Rent is payroll deductible
and the cost is $8.00 per day. Offered to staff are dormitory style
units with shared cooking facilities. There will be a payroll deduction damage deposit
required for those staff wishing to use the staff accommodation.
Uniforms
We will provide a uniform for all staff
members. It is the staff's responsibility to ensure the uniform is
clean and presentable while on duty.
Grooming Policy
Impeccable dress, good manners and
professional behavior are essential requirements to ensuring guest
satisfaction. The Banff Voyager Inn and Spruce Grove Inn expects
their employees to present a well-groomed professional image.
